I believe strongly in these words. As your local government, we should be careful about how we manage the budget. As the budget is supplied by the people, we must ensure that any surplus be used in a manner that benefits the people.

The local government is working to meet with community members, and through mutual discussion, we hope to make this town an even better place. It is my goal to make our town a place where our citizens are proud to live.

Keeping this ancient Chinese proverb in mind, I promise to uphold the position of authority and trust that the people have entrusted me, and to make this town even better.
